# Facility map (Sitemap)

Facility map is an alternative way to view imported devices on the Dashboard. Unlike the table view, Facility map visualizes equipment within the facility's topology structure: you see devices as they are physically arranged - by blocks, racks, and shelves. This lets you quickly identify problem areas and assess equipment health without scrolling through every row of a table.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/qF0ZjNBZjsssBX0vueiT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

> ⚠️ Facility map is available only if both conditions are met:
>
> * a topology has been configured for the facility;
> * the facility has imported devices.
>
> If either condition is not met, the "Facility map" option in the view switcher will be unavailable. To learn how to set up a topology, see the article *"*[Configure the topology](https://help.moonone.online/~/revisions/uc4GJ1641cq581PpIgdc/getting-started/configure_the_topology)*"*.

### **How to open Facility map**

1. Go to the **Dashboard** page.
2. In the toolbar to the right of the filters, click the view switcher button (☰ icon).
3. In the dropdown menu, select "Facility map" and hover over it - two modes will appear:

   * "Hashrate" - color-coded cells by device status;
   * "Temperature" - color-coded cells by device temperature.

   <div align="left" data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/6vJ8w53ahYqm9gJCk5xx" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>
4. Select the desired mode - Facility map will open in place of the device table.

   <div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/rMNdQamWlUVqv0lhdEqA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

The selected view mode is saved per user and per facility. When you refresh the page or log back in, you will see the last selected mode.

### **Facility-level global metrics**

Aggregated metrics for all imported devices in the facility are displayed above the canvas:<br>

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/TIeVFgBCHJ2XTUbQKQOU" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* Hashrate (algorithm) - total hashrate of devices using the predominant algorithm (Th/s, Ph/s, EH/s);
* Consumption - total power consumption of devices (Wh, kWh, MWh);
* Temperature - device temperature range in min–max °C format;
* Overheating icon + number of devices flagged as overheated (device temperature above the allowed threshold);
* Diagnostics icon + number of devices in diagnostics;
* Tasks icon + number of devices with active tasks.

To the right of the metrics, a cell counter for the facility is displayed in the format "Used / Total" cells.

### **Display modes**

Facility map works in two modes: **Hashrate** and **Temperature**.

#### **Hashrate mode**

In Hashrate mode, cells are colored according to the device status:<br>

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/0uTP26fFSUoXAJxL3TCT" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

| Color      | Status                                                 |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| Green | "Active" - device is operating normally |
| Yellow | "Lowhash" - device is performing below expected output |
| Orange     | "Hanged" - device is frozen                            |
| Red        | "Offline" - device is unreachable                      |
| Light blue | Empty cell - no device assigned |

#### **Temperature mode**

In Temperature mode, cells are colored according to the device temperature:<br>

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/5MzxIbV9RTFTPSNv54nr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

| Color  | Temperature range |
| ------ | ----------------- |
| Green  | ≤ 85 °C           |
| Yellow | 86–90 °C          |
| Orange | 91–95 °C          |
| Red    | ≥ 96 °C           |
| Grey   | No data           |

### **Applying filters**

When a filter is selected, only blocks and cells with devices matching the chosen status remain fully visible. All other cells are displayed in a dimmed state.<br>

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/9sTKLQWNfMtxMqq7mcYQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

Filters work the same way in both display modes - Hashrate and Temperature.

### **Viewing device details**

Click on any cell to open a popover with information.

**Empty cell:** only the cell index is displayed.

**Occupied cell:** detailed device information is displayed:

| Field         | Description                           |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| Model         | Device model                          |
| Sub-model     | Device sub-model                      |
| 5s hashrate   | Instantaneous performance             |
| Avg hashrate  | Average performance                   |
| Efficiency    | Device efficiency (%)                 |
| Temperature   | Device temperature                    |
| Index | Cell index where the device is placed |
| Serial number | Unique device serial number |
| MAC           | Device MAC address                    |
| IP            | Device IP address                     |

The "View in table" button opens the device table in a new browser tab filtered to that specific device - for quick access to detailed data and management.

### **Navigating the map**

Facility map displays the topology structure as block cards on a canvas. Each block is a logical unit of the topology: a room, container, rack, shelf, etc. Nested blocks are displayed inside their parent blocks.

Navigation controls are located in the bottom-right corner of the canvas.<br>

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/NH2mVp5cLxIlQj5emAK0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

* **Zoom.** Use the + / − buttons in the bottom-right corner or the mouse scroll wheel.
* **Pan.** Click and hold the canvas, then drag in the desired direction.
* **Fit view.** The button in the bottom-right corner automatically adjusts the view so that the entire Facility map fits on screen - useful for quick orientation after navigating deep into the structure.

### **Navigating from the device table to Facility map**

You can quickly jump from the device table to specific devices on Facility map:

#### **Mass action (multiple devices):**

1. Select one or more devices using the checkboxes.
2. In the mass actions panel, click the "View in Facility map" icon.<br>

   <div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="/files/OsXBPyY1jZZsC0JaFDVr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

## FAQ

<details>

<summary><strong>What is the difference between Facility map and the device table?</strong></summary>

The device table shows devices as a list with sorting and filtering by parameters. Facility map shows the same devices as a physical layout of the facility - by blocks and cells, with color coding by status or temperature.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Why is "Facility map" unavailable?</strong></summary>

Make sure a topology has been configured for the facility and that at least one device has been imported. If there is no topology - set it up in the "Topology" page. If devices are not imported - go to the "Unimported" tab and complete the import.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is it normal that the block counters don't change when a filter is applied?</strong></summary>

Yes. The "Used / Total cells" counters on blocks show the total number of devices in the block and are not affected by the active filter. This is intentional so that the topology structure remains readable regardless of the selected filter.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Why is a block shown in a dimmed state instead of being hidden?</strong></summary>

The Facility map structure is always displayed in full, regardless of the filter. If a block has no devices matching the selected filter, all of its cells are dimmed - this way you don't lose the overall picture of the equipment layout.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Not all blocks fit on screen when I click "Fit view".</strong></summary>

This happens on facilities with very large topologies (20,000+ cells): Fit view reduces the zoom to the minimum allowed level, and the canvas remains scrollable - scroll the page to see the remaining blocks.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Why are some devices not showing on Facility map?</strong></summary>

Facility map only displays imported devices that are placed in topology cells. Unimported devices or devices not assigned to any cell are not shown on the map.
